They knew the sink was stopped up because a plumber showed up while we were there he was unable to fix the sink so we were moved to the exact same make and model room and it was an excellent condition. So why did you give us the ran down room from the start. Other than that customer service amenities the staff the people the comfort was the best...

"The hotel is located in a small block of tourism in the midst of a larger neighborhood of downtown demise. The old Hollywood vibe is lovely. The restaurant at the front of the hotel (25*) was serving a limited menu due to a convention. The menu was disappointing, but the staff were downright disinterested and disconnected. The rest of the stay was lovely."

"Hot water is problematic in the morning, as we stayed on an upper floor. On the other hand, we would stay there again because it's in a great neighborhood close to friends. Parking is easy with the valet and you can hop on the highway easily. Coincidentally, there's a good breakfast place in the building that's been in a zillion movies. "My group found the Lexen to be a great place to stay if you are going to the Hollywood Bowl. It is so much easier to walk there as opposed to dealing with parking or an Uber. It's a 15 minute walk, slightly uphill for those who have issues, but for most anybody it would be easy. The hotel itself is unusual in that there is just a desk someone sits at to check you in; it's very sparse but it did the trick. "I didn’t like that I couldn’t visit the rooftop and that was apart of the fee I had to pay. If you all have a private event to where your guests can’t utilize the facilities that’s supposed to be available for them then they should not have to pay that fee."
