The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. Without a car, there is limited access to any surrounding towns. There is a bus but it’s relatively infrequent. However, staying in is also great due to the 24 hour...

"Peaceful and quiet. Use of private onsen. Not too far from the train station or close shops. Houses are more in the traditional sense which is great. Just have to walk uphill a little bit to reach the accommodation. Fine if a youngster or fit enough. Got a lift to the station when checking out as well. How good? Early June for 2 nights for 2 of us. Reasonable price for the experience."

"The hotel is close to railway and bus stations. Also a supermarket is two minutes away.. The front desk stuffs are very helpful and nice. The room is very clean and has no bad smells. Room is large compared with some other Japan hotels. Free breakfast is another plus!"
