「I came here by myself to get away from the kids for just one 24 hour period over the whole entire year. I was praying for a bit of peace and to be able to treat myself. Hand on heart can say this place did not disappoint! A lovely warm welcome when I arrived. I booked a double bed with sea view and it was perfect. Bed was ridiculously comfy. The Inn is situated in a perfect location so I took a wander down to the cove late evening and early morning. It was so peaceful. I dined at the restaurant...
「The Castle Inn is a lovely traditional,thatched roof inn a 20min walk from Lulworth. The staff were really lovely,each of them friendly and clearly all work hard and look after their guests well..The pub is furnished to a high standard and the room was so cosy and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was good and they have a wide menu for lunch and dinner. The dinner we ate there could have been better,but it wasn't bad..Would definitely stay again.」

「If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.」
「We hadn't realised we'd booked something in West Bay, we thought we'd booked in Bridport, but the people in West bay were absolutely lovely and so friendly, and we found a great place to eat, so we were absolutely delighted with our little mini break. Thank you to all staff at the George pub, you were all fabulous and smiley and welcoming. We would recommend this place highly.
