"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Purple Door over the July 4th weekend! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house is incredibly cozy, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we could possibly need. It’s clear that every detail has been carefully considered to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.Our host, Renee, was exceptional. Her communication before and during our stay was prompt, friendly, and genuinely kind, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free.If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable place to stay near Ely or McGill, this is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. We highly recommend The Purple Door to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!"

"Great stay for our family and dog while we explored Great Basin and the Ely area! With not many restaurant or hotel options in this part of Nevada, the rental gave us plenty of space, a fenced yard, nicely stocked kitchen, and a large parking area. Host communicated quickly as well. Recommended!!"
