「Confusion with reservation. Book Kong room in main building online. Then got a call that room not available. But had King in carriage house. Sent room to approve which I did. Then got told 2rd group will have other room & we’d be sharing living/kitchen area. OkArrived & two staff members confirm our room. We went to room to find 2 double beds? 「My friend and I visited Maine/Bar Harbor for the first time and our stay at the Clefstone was such a highlight. Before I even arrived Steffan was such a help when I called before check in and set such a good tone for the trip. There we were met such beautiful decor and amazing hospitality. We chose room 8 with the stunning Samurai wallpaper and we were so pleased with our choice. The room was clean and smelled fresh and I enjoyed the local soap provided. 「Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well.」

「My husband and I had room 15 around back and it was great- we loved the private driveway- definitely one of the nicer rooms. Very clean and my dogs loved the little dog park out front. Great price and so close to downtown. I can’t complain about the “noisy” road knowing it was motel on a main road ! Thanks for a great and easy stay. 」
