Staff was super nice at this property. Service was top of the line. They even drove us up and down the road even though we could've walked.
Food was delicious, elaborate, and made with superb craftsmanship. Room was so comfortable probably one of the most comfortable ryokans we have stayed at. Private open air bath was perfect with snowing outside!

Off all the chain hotels we stayed in in Japan, this is our favorite, so much so that we plan to look for Daiwa hotels now when we book for future trips. Nice big lobby, bilingual staff, easy check in/out with automation, nice rooms, modern and larger bathroom. Everything seemed upgrade level. Definitely enjoyed staying there and it was near the station with lots of eateries to choose from.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We weren't sure about having the Japanese cuisine for both breakfast and dinner but it was such a great experience. We are very glad we chose to add the half-board to our stay. The sound of the stream at night was lovely and also really enjoyed the onsen. We were originally hoping to have an in room onsen, but ended up enjoying the public onsen. It was a new experience and we would definitely do this again. The food is...

The hotel was conveniently located close to the station. The room was comfortable and seemed to be nicely updated recently. A lot of options for restaurants nearby too.
