My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We weren't sure about having the Japanese cuisine for both breakfast and dinner but it was such a great experience. Staff was super nice at this property. Service was top of the line. They even drove us up and down the road even though we could've walked.
Food was delicious, elaborate, and made with superb craftsmanship. Room was so comfortable probably one of the most comfortable ryokans we have stayed at. Private open air bath was perfect with snowing outside!

Fantastic ryokan, located in a very quiet countryside area. Lots of nature and birds. Very peaceful. You will need a car to get to this ryokan. The road to the ryokan is narrow. Highly recommend!
