「Although an older hotel I found it clean and comfortable the 4 times I have stayed there over the past 5 or so years. The owner is delightful and very helpful. There is a lovely pool on site and lots of wildlife about. Restaurants are close by in Haliburton village as well as a Tim Hortons . Will be booking there again next year for sure.」

「There was something wrong with the plumbing in the bathroom, resulting in a very strong sewer smell. There was a towel on the floor that was discolored in the corner by the pipes. The staff apparently knew about the smell, because they had sprayed the room with some kind of a room freshener before we arrived. So at first the room smelled fairly decent, but then the sewer smell took over and got worse and worse through the night. Other than that, the room was clean and fairly nice although there...

「The owner is very helpful and friendly. The room rates are extremely reasonable, especially given that our room (including the bathroom) was immaculately clean. You can tell the owner takes pride in keeping the rooms as well as the property in excellent shape. Highly recommended.」

「No hairdryer available. Looked everywhere I asked at the desk if the hotel parking lot was full up last nite, oh yes, yes So I parked across where there are no rooms, to leave parking space by our room. However on this Friday evg, it was not full at all. The dead Dble mattress outside our room had us concerned it was possibly infested with pets. Then it was moved around in front of various other rooms, before finally disappearing Boys - please. If you have a dead mattress, get rid of it...

「We had a pleasant one-night stay at this property. It is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, with a lovely small park and a small beach right in front, which is perfect for families with young children. We also appreciated having a TV in the room so we could watch a FIFA match during our stay. The room was a little small for two adults and two children, but it was manageable for one night. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in a calm location.」
