Door was stuck upon entry. Key wouldn’t turn and took forever to actually get inside. The key needs WD 40 or something. Happened twice. Inside was basic motel room. Not the best. Just very very basic. Very cold - didn’t matter how much I tried to turn up thermostat - it remained cold in the room. No extra blankets and bed spreads were thin like tissue paper

The staff on the day of check in was very kind. The manager however, was incredibly rude during the couple phone calls I had with him to sort out a booking issue. He yelled at me, cut me off, and gave me incorrect information on how to amend the issues I had, which led to the issue never being resolved. I will not be staying here again.

Room was in good condition. Heater sometimes noisy; no hair dryer available. Some staff were helpful; others gave a lame excuse ("the weather") for bad wi-fi speed. I've stayed here twice now and both times the wi-fi was unacceptably slow - not possible to get work done (i.e. < 1 mbit/second). Overall it's decent here, but overpriced for what you get.

The hotel was basically closed for renovations. The front desk was locked when I arrived at 6:00 pm and a sign said the hotel was closed for the week for renovations. I rang the bell and called two numbers before being admitted. Everything was a mess. I should hade been told the dinning room was closed. Many other rooms were be renovated throughout the night. Given the poor condition of my room, I see why they were renovating. Stay away!

Great view, comfortable beds, the rest not so good. We selected this hotel in part because it had an attached restaurant, which would have been convenient for breakfast and possibly supper. But when we arrived we were very annoyed to be told that the restaurant was closed the two days we were there. This despite no notice on Expedia, or on the hotel's web site, or even the' sign at the hotel which claimed the restaurant was 'open daily'. For the rest, the room had the smallest, most cramped bathroom I have ever seen. Operating the TV required a good knowledge of how to select the right HDMI channel and select the satellite feed. The instructions and channel guide supplied in the room were just wrong and totally useless. The hotel claimed a 25 Mbit internet feed, but speed was spotty and sometimes resembled dial-up speeds! Staff were scarce to non-existent. There was someone in the office when we came to check in, but at other times the office was locked up tight. There was no-one there when we went to check out at 8:20 am, so we left the key in the room. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

This is a hidden gem. Looks average from the outside, but the room (we chose the bigger one) was wonderful. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Nice to have an on site dining option that was reasonable and the food was good. Best part was the motel dock just across the road. You could sit in the provided chairs and stare at that lake view for hours. Very peaceful and worth the price of admission
