"Space was as described. One bedroom with a comfortable bed made up with fresh white linen. Towels and wash cloths in the bathroom were provided however they weren't the best quality with some towels and wash cloths worn and a little dingy/stained. Unfortunately, Wifi was not available and was not fixed/rectified during the stay. Ants and other bugs were present in the kitchen cabinets as we took down dishes to use. Ants were consistently crawling about on the dining table adjacent the kitchen. The accommodations were reasonable for the weekend stay despite the things noted above. I would stay here again without hesitation especially for the price. "

" I recently sent my mom to Franklyn D. Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica to celebrate her 69th birthday, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience she had there. From the moment she arrived, the staff treated her like royalty. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. They truly went above and beyond to make her birthday special. They decorated her chair with beautiful gold and black balloons and surprised her with a full birthday cake. What touched me even more was their kindness when she wasn’t feeling well one day—someone from the resort personally took her to the pharmacy to make sure she was okay. That level of care meant the world to me. Franklyn D. Resort may not advertise itself as a five-star luxury hotel, but the treatment and hospitality they provide is absolutely five-star. If you are traveling with family, kids, celebrating a birthday, or even sending an elderly loved one to relax, you can rest assured they will be in good hands—even if traveling alone. Thank you to the amazing team at Franklyn D. Resort for making my mom’s birthday unforgettable. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for genuine Jamaican hospitality and heartfelt service. "
