"The property is fine chill place to go for it’s price. Quiet and cool. The heat pool water had a weird scent so I would suggest maintenance on that but otherwise it’s worth the price"

Silver Seas Hotel

Silver Seas Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"A budget hotel that has nice views of the ocean. If you looking for somewhere that has a view then this is perfect. The property could be updated. I believe if they just change the tiling and apply some paint with minor art work and murals that place would be perfect. For now tho if you are on a budget then this is the place."

Frequently asked questions

What is Bamboo like for travelers on a budget?

Take a look at the travel packages offered under Bundle and Save and discover huge discounts when you book your transportation at the same time.
When is the best time for a budget trip to Bamboo?
Weather will likely play an important role when you plan your trip to Bamboo, and keep in mind that cheaper options are usually available when the weather isn't as good. The hottest months are usually July and August with an average temp of 82°F, while the coldest months are February and March with an average of 77°F. Average annual precipitation for Bamboo is 50 inches.
What is there to see and do in Bamboo?

Hunt for bargains with some shopping at Ocho Rios Craft Market and Island Village, or get outdoors at Runaway Bay Beach.
How can I get to Bamboo and get around on a budget?
Scoping out the transportation options in Bamboo is a smart way to keep your trip affordable. The most convenient airport is 19.6 mi (31.6 km) from the center in Ocho Rios (OCJ-Ian Fleming Intl.). However, if that doesn't suit your budget, you can look into flights to Sir Donald Sangster Intl. Airport (MBJ), which is 43.3 mi (69.7 km) away. Bamboo may not have many public transportation choices so a rental car could be an economical alternative to see more of the area.
