"When we booked our trip 6 restaurants were listed on the website. When we arrived only 3 were open due to property being remodeled. We wouldn’t have booked if known in advance. The property had many pool lights hanging in the water and multiple locations with exposed wires near pool area. Staff was fantastic but hotel is in bad shape."

"This was our first time to stay at Sago Palm, a boutique hotel right in Ocho Rios, within walking distance of the beach, shops, and restaurants. We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel for breakfast (Jamaican buffet and American menu options). We also walked down the main street to The Almond Tree Restaurant for dinner and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset view overlooking the water."

"This is truly a 5 star resort, from the clean facilities, excellent staff, excellent amenities, beautiful pools, beaches and flowrider to the excellent choices of food. Comfortable room, beautiful ocean view and elevators on every building (so good for wheel chair access). Great night entertainment and top class video game room with about 25 video games including x-box. Great for families or couples. Water slide, kids splash park and all pools are 4 feet or less in depth. I love this resort and will definitely go back. It is worth every penny."
