Lots of restaurants and a Walgreens just a few blocks away where I was able to buy everything needed for our breakfasts, as well as other supplies. The hotel was very nice, updated, and clean. "The staff was incredibly kind and attentive. They helped me navigate the city as a solo traveler. The building can only be accessed by keycard/buzzing in which made me feel extra safe. The location is great - walkable to Chinatown and North Beach. There is no AC so the room felt a little stale at times, but they provided fans and the city itself is cool, so an open window was great. The breakfast is basic but the coffee was surprisingly tasty. I definitely enjoyed my stay and would come back...

"The hotel is old but has been redone inside but most hotels by the fishermans wharf are. Location is great if you want to be near fishermans wharf, Giradelli Square. Area appeared safe even at night. Close to transporation we did not need a car during our stay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, all greet you nicely, gave great tips , have free snacks for guests."

"Historic property in Pacific Heights. Great location for us and included breakfast. Our suite was spacious and we enjoyed the tall ceilings, and high king size bed. We enjoy staying in historic properties and enjoy the journey into an earlier time. The only challenge is parking, and you have several options nearby."
