「Great location!! Shepherds hut fully equipped and well thought out, even has a picnic basket and blanket. Host is super friendly and helpful. Easy access to local community, walks, cycle tracks through beautiful forests with picnic spots along the way. Safe environment and free parking a short walk from the accommodation. Braai (barbecue) and fire pit. As SAFFA’s was great to sit around the fire under the stars braaing marshmallows. Thanks for an awesome stay.」

「A luxury cottage in a beautiful setting. Tastefully furnished with a pretty garden. Unfortunately the countryside setting wasn’t that peaceful as sporadically two very loud men were working on restoring some vintage double decker buses in the adjoining barn - language and diesel fumes not so welcome.」

「If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.」

「Our stay at Hell Fyre was a delight. We were warmly welcomed by Louise, to find a well-stocked kitchen, and a warm and comfortable home. The period character of the house made this a special holiday for us. We stayed for three weeks, and were pleased to be able to extend our stay a bit – we so enjoyed living here. We walked the local pathways to villages close by. The location made it easy to take day trips to numerous castles, houses and gardens, and if we were ever at a loss for something...

「We had an amazing stay. Bob and Liz were lovely and friendly hosts, provided a really nice breakfast and a nice, tasteful welcome package in the fridge. The authentic cottage was a lovely and peaceful place to stay, well renovated and well accomodated. As is the case in most cottages, some of the beams and ceilings are quite low, so watch your head. The walks on the grounds between the bluebells are an absolute must in spring. In the nearby area the places to visit are Plaw Hatch Farm, Bluebell...
