「Lovely cottage, but if you’ve got people much over 6’ in your group, it is going to be challenging」

「Property was a very interesting cottage and full of character and old charm.There were lots of books and games for evening or bad days. Louise was a perfect host and made us very welcome and we will definitely return.」

「The accommodation was clean and welcoming. The welcome pack was a thoughtful extra with fresh milk, eggs and bread. Tea and coffee was also provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept really well. Patio table and chairs ideal for eating outside even though it was late September, a bonus. Grassed area accessible from the car park was great for letting the dog out. Easy 15 minutes drive into Hartfield to visit Winnie the Pooh sites & Ashdown Forest.」

「The potting shed is definitely a hidden gem, its little but had everything we needed, it was spotless with a lovely garden for our dog to explore. The twin baths outside were a really nice way to unwind after a day sightseeing and there’s plenty of dog friendly restaurants locally. I would recommend the lazy fox for great service and lovely food.」

「If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest.」

「Away from all traffic with lovely views this well equipped apartment provides an ideal base for West Sussex and Surrey. The kitchen is particularly good and we much enjoyed our second stay here.」

「My husband and I enjoyed a week in Mill Barn in early June. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to play along so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful garden as much as I had hoped, but that was no loss - the cottage is adorable inside too and it's perfect for cozy cocooning when it's rainy. We enjoyed the smart TV, bath and wonderful shower, as well as the well equipped kitchen. There are plenty of fun day trips in the area and Penny was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay.
