  • We welcome you to The Potting Shed: sleeps 2 in 1 studio cottage, beautiful open plan sitting/dining/kitchen/ bedroom room, shower room, garden with views across the countryside, patio with double outdoor baths and allocated parking for 1 car nearby

The potting shed is definitely a hidden gem, its little but had everything we needed, it was spotless with a lovely garden for our dog to explore. The twin baths outside were a really nice way to unwind after a day sightseeing and there’s plenty of dog friendly restaurants locally. I would recommend the lazy fox for great service and lovely food.

The perfect accommodation for walkers or if you just want to chill

We arrived at the Potting Shed at sunset. The lights were on inside and it looked magical. We loved the place immediately. The house is very cozy and provides everything you need from self-catering accommodation. Walkers can plan their routes directly from the farm or with just a short drive have plenty of other options. There were several little things that added to the overall feeling of being welcome. The fridge was stocked with locally produced milk and butter. There was a little basket with eggs and hot chocolate. On clear nights the patio around the house is great for star gazing. We also made a fire one evening in the provided fire pit. I can absolutely recommend to book the Potting Shed.

As a hospitality provider for 55 years the little place was just beyond any expectations the attention to detail was meticulously thought out the attention from staff again beyond helpful the small issue we had was dealt with in the most professional of ways and a suggestion I offered for an additional feature was in place before the end of our 4 night stay we will return
