"I loved my short time at Cyashitsu Ryokan. The staff were all so sweet and helpful. The rooms are set up in traditional style, so be aware the doorways and ceiling are low. It's a short walk from Senso-ji and Asakusa Station. Asakusa is an interesting area; full of covered markets and great food. The ryokan even has a big book or restaurant and entertainment recommendations. Breakfast was Japanese style and delicious. The private bath is great if you're shy like me. "Cute little hotel right in the heart of Asakusa. 3 blocks from Senso-ji, close to great food and shopping and Ginza line subway. Nice ofuro (though small) with a view of Sky tower. Only concern was the noise at night. Very friendly staff."
