Hotel St-Julian is the perfect way to experience the town and unique neighborhoods of Biarritz. Phillip and his wife are the best of host. Four star that could be a five star. Excellent staff, beautiful rooms, and if you book ocean views from the 3rd floor … be prepared for gorgeous views of the beach and ocean across the street.

The toilet was separate from the shower and had no ventilation and when you flush the toilet the water splashes out even with the lid on. Other than that I loved the property.

Beautiful room overlooking the sea! The bal ch ont is acne ce for coffee in the morning watching the surfers. Warm friendly staff. Short walk into area with restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Excellent location and the family is very involved with everything from check in to the restaurant. The only thing was we wished we had more time to dine in the restaurant it looked amazing!

We were impressed with the quality and comfort of this hotel, close to the motorway for a one night stay during an extended trip in France. We loved staying at this hotel - our bedroom was beautiful (and huge), combining old charm with modern beauty (bathroom was nicely updated). The front desk staff was very nice and helpful - they helped us figure out the local bus system to go to an indoor spa just outside of town on a rainy day when we could not go to the beach and gave us good restaurant recommendations for dinner! This hotel has the perfect location right on the water and city center. The staff was wonderfully attentive upgrading our room to an oceanfront suite because one was available. The only complication was the lack of parking and the complication of reaching the hotel to drop off your luggage. But once I called the hotel we got good directions on where we could park.

Perfect place! The only setback is the restaurant service outside, which was ultra slow and subpar, but anything else is top notch. Would stay again.

We visited Hotel La Marisa for three nights in September with friends and chose the hotel based on location and value. It definitely succeeded on both fronts! The location in St. Jean de Luz is perfect - close to the beach plus walking distance of all the main restaurants and shops in the town.
