Great location in a van park. Loved the free glow worm walk. The skylights don’t have any covers as yet so the light comes in early in the morning - they have ordered some though!

Wonderful place to stay in Fox Glacier. Room very thoughtfully appointed with all traveler needs. Clean comfortable room, breakfast included in my stay was great. They also offered free glow worm tours!

Not quite what we expected from photos. Room was fine, but dated. Fireplace did not work. Cobwebs present throughout. We were expected to make our own breakfast and ensure all dishes were cleaned and put away or a cleaning charge would be placed on our account. That seemed odd to us and this was the only property that required this during our 3 weeks in New Zealand. We did appreciate the free glow worm tour and the location of the property.

Room was clean. Bedding a bit uncomfortable. Found it hard to get warm. Had to turn airconditioner off as it blew its stream of air right onto bed. Generally a bit dated. Continental breakfast fine, but note that said if we did not clean up sufficiently we would be charged, did not go down well.

A wonderful place to stay

The Fox Glacier Lodge was an amazing place to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were nicely presented and the bonus glow worm tour was a great value add. I can highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Fox Glacier Lodge for two evenings. The staff at the lodge were amazing. They went above and beyond to answer any of our questions about the town. At night time, they offered a free walk to see the glow worms which was just around the corner from the lodge.
