Staff were lovely and welcoming. We were able to park immediately outside our room’s terrace where we enjoyed a peaceful dinner sat outside. Room was fairly basic. Great location though for an early morning trip to the waitomo caves.

I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom and it was great - large room, hot water, clean! Kitchen was well equipped and very clean and tidy. Fairly basic property, rooms and amenities, but definitely contained everything that was described in the details! All staff were friendly and welcoming and I really enjoyed my stay!

Walking distance to Waitomo caves. Barely any other guests because I came during the off season. They said checkout was at 10am but my bus to leave Waitomo didn’t come until 4 so the host let me stay in the room for an extra half day without any extra fees. Breakfast was good, good variety of stuff for the price. Great for solo travelers or families with kids. There’s a restaurant nearby that I went to for dinner, it was also great.
