「This is a charming old-world experience in a well-maintained hotel set in the redwoods beside the Russian River. Rooms are smalll, but clean and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the river, which we enjoyed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The owner is obviously very proud of his establishment and dedicated to making it a good experience for his patrons. The breakfast is ample. The attached restaurant provides a German cuisine.」

「I wish we could stay more than 2 nights. The management was amazing. An inn-keeper even took me downtown to show me where to have a massage the next day. She oversaw breakfast and made sure everyone got their orders right away. The rooms were amazing: clean, had cloud like mattress toppers, super-soft pillows, AC, fireplaces, double-sized spa tubs, private balconies and invited wineries for evening tastings. 「The breakfast was spectacular and they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Gourmet 3 course breakfast! We stayed in the cottage and was nice and quiet with lots of privacy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The hosts were super nice and was wonderful to know the history of the Inn.」
