You would never know the town existed because of the hotels, location and quietness. Check in and get an amazing chocolate chip cookie. It’s worth it."

It is only a one block walk to the main street, with the very closest restaurant being LOVINA, an excellent choice for dinner in the evening in the winter we have used the stove inside the room, and we appreciate the refrigerators and especially the accessible bathrooms"

"Excellent place to stay. Everything was great. The only two TINNNNY things I wish were better were the food at their little restaurant and the water pressure in the room shower. Besides that, place and staff are exceptional and I highly recommend staying here!"

"Okaeri blew away our expectations from beginning to end. Leslie and Craig, who opened and run it, were so hospitable and friendly as they immediately made us feel welcomed and at home. While the outside has a Victorian feel the Japanese inspiration throughout the property just melted away any anxiety we had leaving us with a calm, relaxing and enjoyable stay. The breakfasts were super unique and inspired letting us start each day with an unplanned but pleasant experience. The rooms were spacious and cute with multiple sitting areas to relax throughout the stay. And don’t let me get started on the bed sheets…bamboo and some of the most comfortable sheets we have ever used. The property had so much to offer as we enjoyed the fire pit at night, Craig even came to join us with some of his own stories of Napa lore, and the Koi pond in the middle of the dining area was gorgeous. We highly recommend staying at Okaeri and look forward to returning ourselves. "

"Great, affordable property in an expensive location. We stayed here for a wedding in Calistoga where we just needed a place to sleep. Free parking along the side streets. Lots of places to walk to eat in the downtown Calistoga area. Shared bathroom was not an issue for us. Private toilet stalls and there was never more than 1 person in the bathroom with me, most of the time was just me in the bathroom anyways! Free coffee/tea and pastries downstairs in the morning was a nice surprise. Staff was so friendly and nice! No elevator so you will have to carry your suitcases upstairs to the rooms. If you need absolute silence to sleep, this might not be the place for you but they do provide ear plugs which we did not have to use. Would definitely stay again! I was pleasantly surprised at this cute inn! "

"It was our first time in Napa and this property was perfect for us as it was near amazing vineyards and Oat Hill Miine trailhead for great hiking. The pool and public spaces are frequented by families, however The Bathhouse and Spa areas are great and more quiet for adults. Food and beverage quality and staff was phenomenal."
