"No restaurants within walking distance but The hotel offered a free shuttle both ways to the capital town of Fira (2miles away) where there were plenty of eateries. The concierge booked us 2 incredible excursions - the first was a private guided tour by car around the island (5 hours). The second was a day/sunset catamaran cruise. "

The hotel is right on the walking path to Oia and Fira in a central location walking distance to fantastic restaurants and stores. We watched the sunset nightly from our balcony with a complimentary bottle of Rose'. The staff is absolutely incredible. Bora tended to our every need, answered all of our questions, arranged transportation and provided us with invaluable suggestions. "Property was stunning - be warned it’s a walk to the property on the walking route and you will get your stair workout - but it’s so worth it. Our junior suite was perfect, beautifully detailed and the view is incredible. Less crowded than Fira or Oia, quiet, lovely. Be sure to go to Avocado restaurant nearby, Greek food was amazing and clearly a family business."
