「The place looks pretty regular but then I walked in the room and it was very nice! It was studio apartment style with a jacuzzi in the room. It was amazing just like a hot tub. Bed was kinda bouncy though ago it was kinda meh. But other than that, it was lovely and we had a small breakfast in the morning. The innkeeper did her best all on her own and was really nice as well. Overall great for the price and peaceful even being next to a road.」

「Glad of the late check-in, as we got in around 11pm. Best to checkin while light to find room at bottom of the hill. Charming area, but our activities were based in Ithaca. Great peaceful views of the lake. Very clean and updated. Very little counter space in bathroom.」

「This was, without a doubt, the most bizarre and worst experience that I have had at a hotel. I was traveling with my girlfriend after a long, stormy road trip. We are not fussy people and would have been happy with a fairly clean, safe room. We received neither. We walk in to our room after a long road trip and see that half of the window is missing and there were no curtains. They had attempted to cover the window with a piece of cardboard and some tape. We attempted to turn on the heating...

「This was our first stay at Nightshade. My son lives in Marcellus and we were looking for a place that was close to him, economical, and clean. We found this place to be ideally located, and I can't say enough about our beautiful smiling host! It was great to have coffee and light breakfast items available before we headed out for our day. We will certainly be back in the future.」
