For a budget hotel short stay, this was OK, room largely clean, beds OK, air con a must. We were only sleeping & showering in the room then out all day. Not suitable for a wheelchair user, tiny lift & lots of stairs.
Had not realised when booking that this area is quite dangerous, although marketed as close to city centre, you have to walk through filthy streets past people taking drugs, sleeping on the street, we were very anxious. Taxi driver who dropped us off there said ‘don’t come to this area again!’.
We found Athens to be a very dirty city, it’s hugely busy & loud, roads/drivers are crazy, take care when crossing. People are really friendly and the food is good, reasonably priced. Overall a good trip.

Prior to arriving in Greece I received a message from the hotel asking if there was anything I may possibly need. I mentioned transport from the airport and they graciously arranged a private transport who gave us some amazing recommendations for our time in Greece. With by far the largest room we’ve had in Europe, the hotel is beautiful, the staff was amazing, the breakfast was absolutely incredible. This hotel will host all of our future stays in Athens.

Huge suite with a living room, kitchen, dining area and 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with pots, plates, utensils and anything you might need. Good value and right across the street from the National Art Gallery. Close walk to train station. Helpful desk service.
