Lake Superior Views Log Home

"My son got married at Larsmont Cottages and they dont accept dogs. So we rented the cabin for 3 nights so the dog could come with us. We couldn't have been more pleased, we had everything we needed and the place was spotless. We had plenty of room and enough bathrooms to get ready for the wedding festivities each day. Lovely views of the ships on the lake too."

"Hosts were incredible and easy to communicate with, very quick! Our family stayed here for college graduation and it was a fantastic, welcome retreat from the Canal Park and downtown area. We love the North Shore and it was a most delightful stay. I think the ONLY thing I said it was missing was toothpicks, haha! Seriously, everything was fantastic! I felt very "at home" which was important to me as the mom of the college grad with lots of family to attend to, the last thing I needed to worry...

"This was by far my favorite place to stay on the North Shore- the views are my favorite- even though we had no lake access that didn’t matter- Beautiful clean home and the location is perfect close to town and within an hour of major parks and hiking trails- Thank You for a great weekend- Jan and Billy"

"We had such a great stay here! We had 4 kids aged 2-8 with us and they all got such a huge thrill being able to watch the ships out the window each morning. There was so much space in the bedrooms upstairs and the little girls loved being able to have their own slumber party in one of the rooms. The house had everything we needed and the guys were able to easily snowmobile out of the driveway right to the trail. We definitely plan to come back!"

"We had a great time! With kiddos it's so nice to have more space than a hotel room. They could have probably just stayed at the house and been happy, rather than going out to see the sights of the gorgeous north shore! But, we did drag them away to check out Gooseberry Falls, Betty's Pies, and Duluth. This was a great location for many north shore activities. We loved being sort of between Duluth and the north shore. And Two Harbors is such a sweet little town! We loved it!"

Beautiful Secluded Lake Front 100 yr old Log Lodge | Family/Group | Dog Friendly
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (91)
"What a wonderfully relaxing lakeside oasis! Everything was as advertised. Best aspects were un-ending amounts of firewood for the interior fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The sauna, dock and multiple sleeping accommodations (7 separate beds). Only feedback is that they need to replace the oven hot mitts and gas grill (no bottom to collect the grease). Otherwise the group of us would gladly return here again! Cheers 🍻"

Cabin and Bunk House

"We had a wonderful stay at this relaxing retreat! We loved the lake view and all the amenities (paddle boards, comic book collection, sauna, gas grill, spacious kitchen, and large farm table for gathering to playing cards). Being a group that loves to cook together in the kitchen, the selection of kettles was a tad limited and a few 3 - 4 qt pots would be nice :). We would definitely recommend this place to others who might enjoy a quite scenic lake stay in Northern MN."

"My son was graduating from UMD. Duluth "proper" was crazy busy, so we greatly enjoyed this VRBO away from the hussle and bussle. Nick was an amazing communicator, and went out of his way to make sure our stay was to our liking. The food next door was FANTASTIC and everyone working was beyond pleasant. We WILL be going back in the future!"
