Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. "Lovely large rambling farmhouse not far from two great Devonian towns, Dawlish and Teignmouth. Very comfortable with all necessary on site facilities except laundry (launderette in either D or T), including two playful collies and a bonus half size snooker table. A couple of issues with bathroom plumbing and lighting but nothing to detract from a warm half term staycation with the family."

"Sonachon house is now under new owners Leanne and Aaron. They were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with full English, cereals, toast, and yoghurt on offer. They also provide some towels for the beach as well as free loan of bucket and spades.There is a spacious communal lounge which was really nice to relax in over a cup of coffee. "Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
