The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about major changes to how we travel. If you're planning a vacation in Echo Valley Ski Area, the following tips will help you navigate these new rules and challenges:

• Before locking in your flight, find out if any travel bans or restrictions apply — in both your destination and origin. Keep informed with the latest updates by reviewing government travel advisories.
• When you go through airport screening, keep your face mask on. You will be asked to briefly lower it to confirm your identity. Anyone refusing to wear a face mask may be fined and denied boarding.
• Rather than handing a TSA employee your boarding pass, position it straight on the reader yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA now permits passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on luggage. This will need to be removed from your bag and presented for screening.
• Remove personal items from your pocket, like your wallet and phone, and put them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• Transport any food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA employee will need to open and touch your bag for inspection.
