"Great rooms and close to everything!"

"The heater took a longtime to warm up. The mattress and bedding were terrible. Wouldn’t stay there again even if they pay me. Didn’t use laundry."

"Decent, basic hotel. Room was pretty small. Only one thin blanket for bed. Air conditioner was barely able to keep up in April. TV remote didn’t work. Restaurant was good. Overall, it was OK."

"Desk person couldn't find my reservation. Had to pay the hotel directly and then of course Expedia got their money, so I again double paid using third party agencies. I really recommend for people to contact the hotels directly to avoid this hassle. Expedia wants me to contact the hotel, get a receipt and then send it to them. I did contact them and they said I would have the receipt in about 3 minutes. 45 minutes later, I still don't have it. 3rd party agencies are Ok when it all works but involving more cooks in the kitchen sometimes just doesn't work."

"We are not a skiing family. We went to Mammoth Lakes for hiking and the beautiful scenery. The MM Inn was in the most perfect location."

"Absolutely fantastic. The grounds are so beautiful, truly an oasis. The staff were professional but laid back. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. The whole resort was immaculately clean. The Casita provided everything we needed as a family of 3. Our child loved the heated pool. Gorgeous tile work everywhere gave it a sense of place and time, not just another chain hotel. Also loved the historic lodge feel of the main house, and all the historic photos of the area, the copper paneled elevator, the library. Would absolutely return. The only notes I have are: no hand soap provided in bathroom, no espresso offered at breakfast, low water pressure in the shower (but it is in the desert, so that is understandable.)"

"Front desk person never there. Nobody answers the phone or returns text messages. Stayed in room 16 and staff starts slamming doors and talking loud and stomping around at 6 am. Bathroom attached to laundry room and laundry starts at 6 am and runs all day. Breakfast is carbs. Potatoes and pancakes. No protein or bacon/sausage. Nobody wants to start a vacation day like that. I didn't even stay the 3rd night because I know I wouldn't be able to sleep. Worst place Ive ever stayed in mammoth and never will again."
