「We had such a lovely time at this place. It’s right on the water with a beautiful back deck and fire pit that overlook the ocean. The house itself was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were well-stocked with everything we needed. My only qualm is that we had stayed here because it was close to Bar Harbor - the listing said it was a 50min drive but was more like an hour 10min and there wasn’t much else to do in Milbridge. 「This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. 「The house was beautifully set up for a lovely stay with our family. We had plans to visit some of the many preserve walks that are conveniently located nearby, however the house, beach and location itself was so charming we decided to stay in and enjoy it instead. 「Set back on a private dirt road the setting was perfect. The property was within 50ft of the ocean with spectacular views. The sound of the waves was relaxing no matter what time of day it was. 「Loved this little apartment. Easy check-in process, very clean. Area of town was a bit sleepy, was expecting slightly more activity but that was just our lack of research probably. Most things closed by 6-7pm, but you are still a short ride to Bar Harbour which has more restaurants/nightlife.」
