「The house is in a wonderful location and made a great home base for our trip. That said, there were a few details that could use some attention to improve the overall guest experience. We noticed some areas could have been cleaned more thoroughly—particularly under the furniture and around the shower vent. The dryer seemed like it could use a little maintenance, and there were towels left inside, along with dishes in the dishwasher, which isn’t something we’ve experienced at other VRBOs.The...

「The stay was amazing! I live in a rural town in Aroostook County, ME. I thought I knew quiet. I didn't! There was no traffic noises and no machinery sounds in the distance. The property is beautiful with the cove and the grilling form the deck. The walk trails close to the property are relaxing and scenic. It is a perfect place to get true relaxation. 」

「The house was perfect for our family vacation! It’s often so hard to find something big enough for family to have enough space and this house was great! Also so helpful that it was dog friendly. Easy communication with the host. Only recommendation- if you’re sensitive to the taste of tap water, might want to bring some drinking water with you! 」

「This was a nice clean property in a quiet beautiful setting. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. 10 minutes to a grocery store and Southwest Harbor, and 15 minutes from Bar Harbor. All communication with the host was friendly and responsive. This was our first trip to Mt. Desert Island/Acadia, and we are very happy that we chose this place.」

「Beautiful property. Well appointed and spacious. Well furnished. Location worked well for us; some might find it too isolated. Good access to Acadia. Waterfront view and access varies significantly with changing tides. Be alert to wildlife. 」

「Lovely cottage on Bay of Fundy. We loved to see how the tide changes twice a day. The decor was so nice inside and out. Lovely garden and front porch with a bbq. Very clean and had everything we needed. There is a couple local take-out restaurants in the area which were great! If you want a fancier sit down restaurant you will have to drive 35 mins to one of the local towns. Its a very quiet lobster fishing town where we bought some fresh lobster one day right off the boat next door to us....

「Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! 」
