"This is a lovely place that seems like new. The kitchen was very well stocked including lots of spices and coffee, etc. It wasn't warm enough for us to sit on the front porch, which we would have enjoyed. We loved having the hot tub. It's off the beaten path, and we were glad that we'd brought all the food we needed. The bed was comfortable. We recommend it as a nice getaway."

"Where was this place when I had little kids!? Exactly as advertised… they did caution there were steep steps to climb down, but my 87 year old father took his time and did fine on them. Waking up to the loons in the morning and having coffee on the dock was so relaxing. We were in town for a wedding, but still managed to kayak and enjoy the cabin. If you have small kids and it’s raining, the boat house is the coolest clubhouse! The owner was very responsive when I had a question, the place was spotless, beds very comfortable! The third bedroom, aka boathouse, is maybe more geared for kids and teens,I can’t speak for those beds!"

"We had an excellent stay at this inviting well-equipped cottage with a beautiful expansive view down the lake. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and paddle board, relaxing and fishing off the dock, and the easy walk in entry to the water from its small rocky beach. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, and grilling and dining on the deck watching the hummingbirds and other birds zip around the large yard. The cottage is clean, welcoming, and comfortable with plenty of space on two levels. Great communicative host. Overall 10 out of 10."

"Great rustic getaway if you don’t need too many creature comforts. Clean sheets and pillows, plenty pf clean towels. Kitchen reasonably well equipped - some items require updating. No dishwasher or laundry. Mattresses could have been more comfortable. Plenty of fans provided good air flow. Treacherous back stairs for little kids and pets. Amazing private beach with kayaks and folding chairs. Great fishing and swimming. Adjacent to large public beach with boat ramp. Watch for poison ivy along the path to the beach! Small issue with house access code was remedied by text immediately. Trash was full and very smelly and was never emptied during our stay. Summary: property as advertised, no bells and whistles but clean and with a beautiful lake front. Would come back!"

"We enjoyed no tv or electronics. The kids loved the book/game area yet most of the games are missing parts and we had to makeshift pieces to play them. More variety /choices for games and kids puzzles, indoor activities for them would be great. Twister, connect four, Uno Operation, Battleship, coloring books with crayons… just suggestions. Great space, beautiful lake and easily accessible for outdoor activities, fishing and snowmobiling. Thank you. We will come again for sure "
