"It was supposed to be all inclusive but in fact it really wasn't. Room service wasn't included. You couldn't get reservations for the other restaurants on the property and you had to eat at the buffet for the first dinner. I've never heard of such a thing. We went off property to eat some nice meals but ended up spending even more money."

"My stay at Sonesta was a bit of a mixed experience. There were several maintenance issues in the room that really shouldn’t have been overlooked. The shower head needed fixing, the AC seemed stuck at 18 degrees the entire time, and the Body Soap, Shampoo and conditioner dispensers were broken, which was inconvenient. The pool area was also disappointing. There’s only one pool, and it was consistently very crowded, making it hard to actually enjoy. That said, the staff were genuinely nice and helpful, which made a positive difference during the stay. Overall, it has potential, but the property really needs better upkeep and attention to detail."

"The resort was wonderful! Lots of pools and restaurants and the beach was lovely. All of the staff that we encountered was fantastic as well. It is conveniently located a short drive from the airport and both capitals with ample safe parking. It was also an easy walk to lots of off-site dining options. My only regret would be not trying any of the boat excursions listed on the back of the activities guide - maybe next time."

"Great location. Right on the beach. 3 onsite restaurants which are a little pricey but excellent food and service. Clean rooms and grounds and pools. Check in process is a little slow but the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. One warning, if you stay in building 7 on the even side of the building ( such as room numbers 7102, 7202, 7324, 7422, 7532, etc.) there is a restaurant/club next door to the resort that plays loud music until 1 or 2 AM. You are also within walking distance of many restaurants, clubs and entertainment. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the RIU adults only all inclusive! The rooms were clean, they came every day and tidied up and gave clean towels. If you want your sheets changed daily you just leave a card on the bed and they do it. They restocked our mini fridge daily as well. The staff always seemed to be in the best mood, very accommodating and friendly. Pools and area around them were clean. We loved the swim up bar, wish there were more domestic beer choices, but overall very happy with the bars. The entertainment was good, all of the staff seem to really be into entertaining so that made it good. The White party was awesome, probably our favorite event. The food was good, I didn’t feel like there were a lot of differences from day to day, but it was good overall. The presentation of the food was always done very well. We would definitely stay here again, in fact we cannot wait to plan another vacation! "
