Everything was nice and pleasant, the cleanliness, the staff and the garden furniture arround the hotel. The best of all was the beach, which was not the classic crowded sand beach from the postcards, but a place with an easy access to deep, clean and protected water. We tried to extend our stay for another week, but, unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked.

Where do I even start? I had such an amazing stay at Art Hotel Curaçao, and I’m so glad I chose to come here to celebrate my birthday. Honestly, what made the biggest difference was the staff. From the moment I stepped foot on the property, I felt so welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely warm, which made the whole experience feel extra special. You can tell they really care about their guests, and that kind of hospitality stays with you. The location was also incredible, I made sure to steal a little time to sit by the pier at least every other day, and those quiet moments by the water were everything. Between the beautiful setting and the thoughtful hospitality, I left feeling relaxed, happy (and mostly sad), and already thinking about when I can come back.

This is a new build boutique hotel. It has a very European feel. The staff of very nice and helpful.The rooms are fairly small but comfortable. There is an onsite Lemontree restaurant, that is right next to the pool, so it makes going in the pool awkward while people are fine dining. Parking is limited because the parking garage is not yet completed. While the location is convenient, it’s also loud because it is downtown. Overall, pretty good.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the location is very walkable to plenty of delicious restaurants and cafés. I highly recommend an ocean view room! My only complaint is how the pool is set up. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that you have to pay extra to lay by the pool. The included loungers are off on the Peninsula, which was OK but not ideal, however, there was no service from the restaurant in that area until somebody complained. They definitely cater to the people who pay to lay by the pool during the day, which made me, as a hotel guest feel second class.

We did not enjoy our stay at Art Hotel Curaçao and I wouldn’t recommend it. Overall, the hotel felt disconnected and not very welcoming, and the experience was full of annoying extra charges and restrictions that made it hard to relax. One of the biggest issues was the beach and waterfront area. There were multiple spots where we couldn’t sit unless we paid extra. Some of the loungers/beds cost over $150 USD just to use, which is wild considering you’re already paying to stay at the hotel. At night, we tried to sit by the water to enjoy the view and were told we weren’t allowed unless we were ordering food or drinks. It felt like the hotel was constantly policing where you can sit and when, unless you’re spending more money. The room wasn’t great either. It had a noticeable smell that made it unpleasant to stay in. The bedding was also a letdown: the “king-size bed” is actually two mattresses pushed together, which is uncomfortable, and the sheet they provide is paper-thin and basically just one thin sheet. It didn’t feel cozy or premium at all. Breakfast was another disappointment. It cost over $100 USD for two people and it wasn’t good. Honestly, skip it and eat at nearby local restaurants. You’ll get much better food for way less money. Overall, the value just isn’t there. Between the extra charges, the restricted seating, the smelly room, and the poor bedding and breakfast, this hotel wasn’t worth it. Curaçao has much better options nearby for the price.

Lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of the art district. Loved the front staff who were always so helpful. Due to prebookings by non hotel guests, we were unable to enjoy the cabanas and pool side service. There does seem to be a difference in service for hotel guests versus pay for the day guests. That was unfortunate.

We stayed here over christmas and had a beautiful experience. The hotel itself is just lovely. Our room was huge and we loved the amenities such as coffee maker, closet, and bathroom. The pool area is gorgeous, and the ocean front location is stunning. We watched the sunset each evening from the pier. You really can't beat this location; the restaurants either side of the hotel are also fabulous. Upon arrival we received bracelets and beach bags with flipflops. The staff at the front desk are so helpful and accommodating. Despite the busy time, we were able to easily find parking close to the premises. In terms of the quality of the hotel and the location on the island, you really can't go wrong staying here. I want to go back!

Nice small hotel. Friendly front desk staff. Spotty housekeeping - room not cleaned one day at all; half cleaned on another. Empty coffee cups left on balcony which was not cleaned at all. Had to request clean towels and more as a result. This is a 4 star property, not 5 star. Lemmon Tree Chef’s Table dinner was nice. Good food and decent service but not Michelin star level. Overpriced as well. Breakfast menu extremely limited. Other beach restaurants abutting the hotel serve ok breakfasts. No shady spots by the pool or “beach”. Very rocky beach (common to Curacao, but be aware). Hotel sells day passes to their cabanas and umbrellas which makes it hard for hotel guests to find a spot. Also keep in mind, no phone in room, no TV (no TV fine by me). No tissues in bath. All in all a nice, clean, new, small property. Just be aware of its limitations. A few tweaks on the items mentioned above would go far to make the property impression.

This hotel is marketed as a peaceful, adults-only retreat, but that experience does not exist. The website and promo video suggest calm, relaxation, and tranquility. In reality, this is a loud, club-driven property. If you’re booking to rest and unwind, look elsewhere. The positives: the hotel is beautiful, the staff was kind and accommodating, the food and drinks were good, and the oceanfront views were exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, that’s where it ends. Parking was a major issue—the advertised garage was not open, leaving guests to fight for street parking. The website also states the pool is exclusive to hotel guests, which is not true. Day passes are sold, and hotel guests lose access to the pool and loungers after 6 p.m. when the restaurant takes over. Fire alarms went off three of the four days we stayed, and staff brushed it off as something that “just happens.” Every morning at 6:30 a.m., restaurant staff loudly dragged furniture, waking us up. Friday night was the breaking point. A DJ played extremely loud music until 2 a.m., despite the restaurant closing at 11 p.m. The bass made our bed vibrate, and there was no hotel staff on-site after 10 p.m. to address concerns. After finally falling asleep, we were woken again at 6:30 a.m. The room temperature only goes down to 75°F, with no ceiling fans or air movement, making the room stuffy and uncomfortable. This is not for a quiet vacation. Traveler beware.

The hotel is visually appealing. However, I was not happy that there was no television in the room, no real fridge, the thermostat was locked at 77 degrees, no store on the property, and there were no trash cans around the property. The staff was very friendly. My room was nice and spacious although it was not the room I chose and paid for. They claim it was upgraded but I wish this was not done without my permission. I wanted the city view from the balcony not the courtyard view which was very loud abd noisy once the workers started cleaning up. Reny( I hope I am saying that right), Phillipe, and Ella were a pleasure. There were a few young guys at the bar that were friendly and kind as well but I did not get their names:(. The hotel had several dining options and everything was good including the drinks. Overall, I woukd recommend if you don't mind not having a television or fridge for cold drinks.
