"We very much enjoyed our stay the place was very interesting and had a lot of character. That said I did not realize the bathroom was downstairs and both bedrooms upstairs. I might be a good idea to make the 3rd small bedroom a bathroom instead. I think that would appeal more to smal families or a pair of couples. Overall it was a decent value. There were a couple of small issues that I had such as: no washcloths, very limited kitchen utensils such as wooden spoons not much in the way of chairs...

"Was a great stay in the mountains, was not as far to get to Asheville as expected, just a few minutes. Also, easy access to Blue Ridge Pkwy if you wish to drive up the mountain near to the property."

"Everything was accurate to the listing. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the furniture was nice. One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. Owners thought of everything and it's cleaner and better maintained that I keep my own home :). The surrounding trails were an unexpected highlight. You will love this place.
