"From the initial reservation, the communication with the property owner was stellar. They kept us inform all the way through the point of us, checking in our unit and even then check to make sure everything was right. They accommodated our special request. The unit itself is beautiful and well-maintained to the point where we felt like we were the first person to actually stay at it. It was so new feeling. This property manager did an excellent job in this unit. We will be back."

"This property is a bird sanctuary! It was so peaceful and a perfect getaway. The cabin with hot tub was comfortable. We enjoyed reading on the front porch, cooking out on the grill, fire pit under the stars at night and most of all the sounds of birds chirping during sunrise. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We look forward to our next getaway to Asheville River Cabins! "

Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....

"This was a great trip overall, and this property really added to our long weekend experience. I had been to Asheville several times, but I usually stay closer to town and walkable to most downtown areas, so this was a wonderful balance of being able to enjoy the outdoor space while still being able to catch inexpensive Uber/Lyft rides when easier to leave the car parked at the cabin."

One thing I'd recommend people looking to come here are aware of, is that the house is not easily accessible by sedans or small cars. The road up the mountain to the house is extremely steep, and two of the smaller sedans we brought had a very rough time up, to the point where we had to have some people get out of the car to make it up. "The house is nice. The location is great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen worked nicely. Only advice is to be very careful out on the deck at night. The 3-4 steps from the upper to lower deck are very hard to see at night and no handrail to assist. Make sure ALL the outside lights are on for the best visibility of the steps. Dark brown steps on dark brown deck in the dark is not a good combination."

"We loved the property! It was perfect - welcoming the moment you unlocked the door.
