We cannot say enough to express what a wonderful experience we had. From the property, the cabin, and the hosts, (Rudy and Ann), - it was top notch! The cabin was clean and had all of the amenities, with a full kitchen. The front porch was lovely with two rocking chairs. There is a wood burning fireplace under a gazebo near the cabin with large lush patio chairs.Perfect for a couples get away!

The cabin is a gem, only 25 minutes to downtown Asheville and so many hiking trails. The decorations made us feel like we're mountaineers going back in time while enjoying the modern convenience. The goats are such delight, we enjoyed feeding them and watched them play. The fresh eggs from the chicken coup were so delicious. Rudy was so nice and quick to response. Definitely will come back, highly recommend.

This property is so much more than meets the eye in the pictures and the description. The outdoor seating area next to the fireplace is amazing. I was there day and night with a fire going! Inside the cabin has plenty of space for two people and is stocked with everything you need. It is very quiet and secluded, but it's easy to get to area attractions, including hiking trails, restaurants, grocery store, cool wine bar, etc. Loved having the animals on the property. Last but not least the host was extremely kind and conscientious. Can't recommend this property enough!

They offered us fresh eggs! My wife loved the goats we had to take them snacks each morning or she wouldn't let us keave for the day. We can't wait to return.

This cabin was just as advertised and more. Host and friends were wonderful. Constantly surprised every morning. So tucked away and private and we were able to catch a nice buck and doe on our last night. Birds and squirrels just hanging out while having our morning coffee. We will be back soon.

Best Log Cabin Experience

A charming log cabin with central air, full kitchen, separate bedroom and full bathroom. Very private on 3+ acres. In site goats to visit and a chicken coup with fresh daily eggs the host was gracious enough to allow us to have. The host was friendly and helpful
