"This is a lovely hotel full of character and in a fantastic location right in the centre of town. Comfortable and clean with some lovely touches in the rooms like dressing gowns, coffee machines and complimentary toiletries etc... A separate restaurant and bar which served a good selection of drinks and we didn't have a evening meal but the breakfast was outstanding. The best thing going for this hotel was the staff who were outstanding with their help and service. A particular mention goes to a young woman called Esti who couldn't do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble for her and her welcoming smile was a constant feature. Well done to everyone working there. I would definitely recommend a visit."

"This historic building has been beautifully restored, congratulations! The Old Abbey House is in a perfect location in the centre of Abingdon. Our room was a deluxe king suite (garden view) and was faultless. Thoughtfully designed, spacious with a separate seating and kitchen area making for a very comfortable stay. Check-in was very straightforward."
