「Our stay at Eden Lodge was horrible and the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. There was no power on in hotel as the generator is only turned on at 6.00pm and the staff were using a torch to try and find our booking. We booked and paid 6 weeks before our stay but the reception had no record of our booking and payment when we tried to book in. Our booking details and payment were only confirmed the next morning. 「We are Zimbabweans born and bred now living abroad and are used to the bush. We liked the unique setting at the pan. The sign on the main road reads ' For an unforgettable experience'. Unfortunately for us it was for all the wrong reasons. Burst water pipe in the middle of the night flooding upstairs and downstairs.After shoddy repair it was worse than before.The fan was not working, often no electricity, kettle with a square plug not fitting the round socket in the wall.
