"If you want a nice hotel on the Zambezi River this is the place to stay. It is not in town and about 10 to 15 minutes away depending on where you are going. But very relaxing on the river. "
"We stayed 5 nights at the Shrub, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff weee so friendly and helpful, the food was OK, the location 6 to 8 minutes drive to the city center, it’s walkable if not too hot during the fay, and the park entrance is around 12 minutes drive. "Our time at the Victoria Falls Oasis Hotel was my lifetime, all-time favorite hotel experience! I give them my strongest recommendation. I am 68 and have traveled extensively, a former AA Executive Platinum status holder. The hotel was exceptional at what matters to me most.
Topping the list of what made our stay wonderful was the staff. The staff was attentive, pleasant, competent, and dependable. The staff met us with big warm smiles whenever they saw us at meals or coming and going. They showed genuine interest in how our day went each day and asked if there was anything they could do to make it better. They far exceeded expectations in their care for us.
The wonderful lady that handled reception/guest admissions also functioned as concierge. She asked us about our previously scheduled tours, made multiple calls to the tour operators, as well as calling the tour operators of the tours she scheduled. She kept us up-to-date if the tour operators were going to be a few minutes late. She checked and made sure we had the essentials for whatever we needed to be ready for a specific tour.
The hotel general manager checked on us frequently, as he would see us at breakfast, and as we passed by the pool and reception office. He listened to stories of our daily adventures and provided great insight on tours to take that matched our objectives.
The hotel adjusted meal times for us & employee schedules to best accommodate our tours.

"We stayed two nights here and I wish we could have stayed a little longer. The signature rooms was very nice with a queen size bed, double rainfall showers/sinks and a outside porch where you can watch the wildlife walk by. One thing to consider is the showers/bath are open concept so its kinda like you are bathing in the open room with just a small partition separating from the bed (not an issue for me as I was staying alone). The shuttle was very convenient to get to the falls and other areas in town. If you are going somewhere that is not on the shuttle stop just let the driver know and they will accommodate. The pool area/bar was really nice although the water was too cold for me. We only had a chance to eat the breakfast here and it was 10/10. I got the French toast. I also got a massage at the spa and it was easily one of the best massages I ever received (and I get massages monthly). The prices were super cheap as well compared to the US. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. "
"Absolutely loved our stay at Elephant hills! The staff really are just so wonderful and friendly and the facilities were awesome! Pools, golf, tennis, and games rooms kept us occupied on the downtime parts of the days! The airport transfers were a breeze and the shuttle bus to town / the falls was so convenient. "We enjoyed staying within the national park. Seeing animals right outside our hotel room - hippos, mongoose family, warthogs and monkeys. Quiet, safe and staff very friendly. Vacation of a lifetime! Close to Victoria Falls as well as the downtown of Victoria Falls. Close to the Cheetah and Elephant Experience (which is fantastic). The A'Zambezi lodge property includes a lovely pool area and restaurant area with scrumptious meals. There is a gift shop and spa services too. Plan ahead. Contact the staff through WhatsApp for answers to your questions. It is wise to make reservations and make payment via credit card for all your activities ahead of time. We used Mavigo . They were excellent. Owner is terrific. Prompt service. Quick to provide a receipt and email follow-up of all our activities. "
