「Lovely staff who were welcoming and helpful」

「My one night stay was a good experience. The staff were very friendly. My room was very spacious with a huge bed. Breakfast was good. My only complaint is that the bath is super slippery when having a shower. I know there is a grab handle but I almost dare not let go of it. I put the bath mat in the bath in the end which solved the problem. I usually take my own shower mat with me but forgot on this occasion, I will remember it next time. Other than that one point my stay was very comfortable....

「Very friendly and welcoming staff. No lift so be aware of this if you have disability needs you'd best request ground floor. Parking plentiful. Overall it's a charming example of a hotel which still has character...no key cards here!」

「Obwohl das Hotel am Bahnhof von Taunton liegt haben wir keinen Eisenbahnverkehr gehört. Das Town Center ist zu Fuß leicht erreichbar und kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden. 」

「Lovely room with sea view. Large comfortable bed and a good selection of tea and coffee. An excellent full English for breakfast - probably one of the best we’ve ever had! Only one small negative - really cheap and flimsy loo roll! Will definitely stay again.」

「Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

「The location was stunning. The owners were warm, friendly and very helpful. The evening menu was extensive and what we chose was delicious. There was a low carb, low GI meal available which was both welcome and extremely tasty. Breakfast was a feast and set us up for the day. Highly recommend this hotel.」

「Stopped here overnight whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Very clean and comfortable room with everything I needed after 16 miles of walking and ahead of 20 miles the next day! Lovely period hotel, fabulous sash windows, high ceiling, warm and cosy room, really nice feel to the place. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Extensive breakfast menu, all cooked to order. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast. Would highly recommend. 」

「Beautiful location. Very dog friendly. We had a king size room overlooking the harbour. It was up a few flights of stairs but this was not an issue for us. Use of guest pantry which was a lovely touch. Very good breakfast menu. All staff were very friendly and helpful. 」
