The hotel was full of character, charm and extremely welcoming. Our room was perfect and was very clean and comfortable. The staff upon our welcome, right through to our goodbye were very helpful and polite. We'd also like to say a specific thank you to the lady on Reception on Tuesday morning who helped us to arrange booking a taxi! The lack of phone signal was actually a welcome benefit, allowing us to 'switch off' and enjoy the surrounding countryside, which even on a rainy Tuesday was beautiful. Thank you so much again for your hospitality and making us feel so welcome!

A charming but somewhat tired hotel, the room allocated was very nice clean, warm and a lovely comfortable bed, The Sunday Carvery dinner menu was disappointing, the roast potatoes were awful, but to be fair, the meat was plentiful and tender.
