「ソファのクッションはへたっていてダメ。運悪くエレベーターが2基とも壊れていて5階まで歩く羽目になった。食事もあまりおいしくはなかった。」

「Booked for parents to celebrate fathers 80th. Accomadated a last minute change to more accessible room and late afternoon food. They both really enjoyed stay and could not say enough about quality of staffing and overall experience!」

「高速道路からかなり離れており、ナビゲーターなしでは、探すのに苦労します。ホテルは古城ホテルの雰囲気を伝え、特に環境が素晴らしかったです。敷地は広大で、野生の鹿が多数棲息し、鷹やミミズクを飼育しているほか、敷地内の池、沼には水鳥が泳ぎ、芝生のいたるところにうさぎが跳ねています。食事、サービスは行き届いていますが、ホテルの部屋の設備は今一つで、冷蔵庫がなく、またバスタブにお湯をいれるのにかなりの時間がかかりました。鍵を部屋の内側からかけられないため、夜9時半を回ってから、ベッドメーキングにハウスキーピングの係りがカギを開けて入って来て、時差ボケで早寝をしていたため、びっくりしました。」

「Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc. Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold. Bed was clean, very comfortable...

「On entry to the property it was shabby and untidy but that was nothing compared to the room we were given. Room 5 is large with both a double and single bed. . Bed linen was clean. 「On arrival after a long day's hiking, I was told I'd been upgraded and was shown to a fantastic cottage at the side of the hotel. A beautiful place with a large garden and a fantastic view over the dales.」
