「This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...

「Beautifully clean cottage in an idyllic setting. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was very much appreciated for a chilly weekend, as were the fresh milk and delicious biscuits. Fantastic walks all over, every one of which our dogs loved.The cottage had everything we needed. The information handbook was comprehensive.It was very clean and well maintained and was also in a wonderful location with beautiful scenery all around it.The only downside was the bathroom and the lack of shower screen and wall mounted shower. 」

「We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.」
