「It was quaint.」

「This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area....

「The cottage was a little further from town than we anticipated, but we spent most of our time in the park and the caverns; so, it suited us well. The property manager, Ruth, checked on us each day to make sure we had everything we needed. The only little glitch was with the clothes washer when trying to wash with cold water. 「We were recommended the town of Luray for our Shenandoah trip and found this little hidden gem of a house on VRBO. The location is great, close to town and very easy trip out to the national park. Everything was clean and looked new! Size of the house was great and for all our needs. We spent a lot of time on the back porch and used the fire pit! Would stay again if we are in the area in the future!」
