This hotel was the best out of the hotels we stayed at on our two week trip (3 hotels total). If you’re looking for a great hotel in Kyoto it’s this hotel. Room was clean and beautiful. Bed was excellent (all other beds we slept on were hard and bad). Bathroom was great! Close to the subway and bus stop (use the bus - super easy, fast and clean). Next door to convenience store (very helpful). Blocks from Kyoto station (also very helpful). One block from a beautiful shrine. Coin-op laundromat...

The Oriental Hotel was very comfortable and attractive with lovely views of the bay or mountains. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and overall very charming. This hotel is fabulous. The rooms are stylish and the location could not be better. It is right next to a subway station and an easy trip from Kyoto station. The breakfast is tasty with many choices. The rooms are a little on the small side for Americans...we are from New York City so pretty typical for NYC standards. Would 100% stay here again. Five star for food, design, location, and service.

Staying at this hotel was definitely a highlight of our trip. The location is unbeatable—right across from Kyoto Station, but as soon as you step inside, it's like entering another world. It's so peaceful that you'd never guess you were just steps from the hustle and bustle of the station. The rooms were sleek, comfortable, and had a modern vibe. Great place and great service. Check in can take a while when there is a line. They need a better way to do that. Otherwise, very happy with the location and the hotel is modern and the rooms are convenient. You can hear the train if you get a lower level room so I recommend a higher floor if that bothers you.

Great hotel. Loved every aspect. Helpful staff, especially Benjamin the bar manager, who gave us great tips on Osaka and recommended fantastic wines and cocktails.

Great location, short travel to USJ. Wonderful staff, everyone is so polite at the hotel. Most likely, I will stay here again when I visit USJ again, granted I wasn't able to use their onsen due to my tattoos.

Our experience at Conrad Osaka was really superb. The hotel staff was a shinning example of hospitality: warm, incredibly helpful and attentive to every detail of our needs. This hotel was right in the heart of Namba so close to the train stations and tons of restaurants. The staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful. We loved having the washer/dryer in our room so we could do laundry while we were out.
