"Hesla Gård (Farm) is so charming. There has been great care in preserving the historic buildings, the lodging is clean and very comfortable, and the inn hosts are wonderful. Easy walk to town (10 min) and to local sites, such as the Gol Church, and to hiking trails.

This was one of the loveliest hotel stays I've ever had! The staff were wonderful from the time I arrived until the time I departed. The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was delightful with the rain shower. I particularly loved the blackout curtains that were set up to overlap each other and therefore let absolutely zero light in. I slept really well, especially since there was minimal noise. I missed the complimentary breakfast the first two mornings...

We had a great stay overall. The check-in was the easiest and quickest we have experienced in quite some time. There was free coffee / tea available by the reception all day, a very nice touch in the cold. The sauna in the central building is spacious and convenient. We also had a private sauna in the beach house we stayed in - this was an amazing surprise (should be called out in the room's details!). What a great property directly in front of the Christmas markets! Andres and the staff were super helpful and the breakfast is impeccable!! Would highly recommend to stay here. I would not recommend having a car as Oslo is a walkable city and not designed for cars. Train from the airport is the cheapest and most convenient recommendation. Only a 10-min walk to the hotel.

Brosundet was such a calming and casual chic hotel. After a long day of walking and exploring, it was so perfect to park up with a book (and free coffee/tea) next to their cozy fireplace. I also loved the brand of bath/shower products they provided - I ended up buying a candle to bring home! Also - the free breakfast is fantastic and the location is spot on!

Everything was great during my stay but 2 things that exceeded my expectations were the breakfast and the gym facility. The breakfast was one of the best ive ever had in a hotel and the gym had every equipment you can think of. Only thing that i would like to see next time is a SMILE on the receptionists face.

From the moment I checked in, every member of staff was friend and the property itself has beautiful sense of Nordic space. The views onto the water are refreshing if you can ignore the fish processing plants
