Gym and pool photos were totally misleading. Staff was snobby. The trash cans (this is to the right of the front door exit) were full to the point the trash was blowing everywhere. When we checked in, we asked the staff about some recommendations regarding a special occasion and they made it seem like if we were below the 16th floor that we were common and not important. Total disappointment.

Convenient to rail station which has a huge variety of shops and eateries. Our room came with a great breakfast each night of our stay. Nice room with a bathtub/shower.

We stayed at the hotel for just one night, so didn’t use all the facilities. Although well placed, the entrance is close to the bus station, and, unusually for Oslo, the area was a bit dirty. At check in you realise you are staying at a very large hotel(I.e. it’s very busy) but the staff dealt with it well. We arrived at our room, which was a good size, but realised there was no toilet roll in the bathroom, so had to call reception to get some delivered, so not a great start or reflection on house keeping. Finally we had dinner at the rooftop terrace, which is lovely and has stunning views. However again it was slightly soured due to being massively understaffed. We waited 10 mins just to be seated ( even though their were seats available) and then another 15 to place our order, effectively only 2/3 members of staff were covering the entire space plus making the drinks in the bar. So overall, it’s an average hotel and experience. Rooms are decently sized and with great views, and the train station is a few minutes walk, but the size of this hotel is just not our style, we prefer boutique style establishments. However, some large hotels still manage to hide that fact quite well, but the Raddison Blu just cannot manage this.

The beds are so unbeliveably comfortable. For such a large hotel it in a busy area, it was quiet in the room and hallways. Very close to Cental station if taking the train from/to the airport. Lots of shopping and places to eat nearby.The buffet breakfast was very good. Staff are helpful and friendly. The only thing i didn't like was that my stay wss too shoet.
