"The cabin was very nice and enjoyed it. The area is definitely sad. Not really anywhere to eat, very limited on groceries. A very poor area to say the least. I feel bad for the people there because their livelihood was taken from them when the government stop coil from being produced. "

"This is a been there done that experience. The trains passing by was the most interesting part of this stay. It was the best part, but it was also the worst part. 30 to 40 trains go by (at least once an hour), 24 hours a day. During the day it was fun watching the trains, they pass by the hotel as far away as the 2 lane road. It is loud! The engines were load, the wheels squeaked &squealed. "We had a great stay at Granny's Place! The house was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! The outdoor space was nice for hanging out at the end of our riding day. Will definitely stay here again! The train does run by next to the house and is a bit loud but it didn’t bother us. "
