"We had a really good stay at this property. It’s located in the small town of Shady Spring, which was quiet and peaceful, but still a great location overall. The house is about 10 minutes north of Winterplace Ski Resort, which made it perfect for our ski trip, and about 15 minutes south of Beckley where you can find everything you need—restaurants, groceries, and shopping.The host was great and answered all of our questions quickly, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. The home worked well for our family and was a great spot for a family ski getaway.The only thing that would have made the stay even better would have been a hot tub after long days on the slopes. Other than that, we were very happy with our experience and would recommend this place to other families planning a ski trip."

"Beautiful property! The view of the mountains through the big windows was breathtaking! There is a 2nd cabin right next door and then multiple camp sites to pitch tents so not as secluded as we thought but not many people were there and those that were, were quiet. It can sleep 8 but only 1 bathroom, which was a little challenging for even the 4 of us. Also, we missed not having a full length mirror. But overall VERY clean and had all the amenities you need and 30 minutes to 1 hour away from all the hiking trails, waterfalls, etc. so we’d definitely come back! "

"Property was clean and spacious. Although the National Park was closed due to the shutdown, we still were able to do many things. The Bridge Walk was great, as was the Exhibition Mining Company. Having trains come by was interesting, and pretty neat. "
