「Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. 「The hitel needs a bit of modernisation if compared with other Ibis, but the room was clean and stuff was friendly. Good breakfast as well.」

We hebben de avond in de grote tuin doorgebracht met een gekoeld drankje dat we, net als de huisgemaakte jam van vlierbloesem, ter plekke konden kopen. In de nacht was het buiten aardedonker en muisstil. Een heerlijke plek uit de drukte in een landelijke omgeving.」

「Our stay was perfect for an overnight during further travel. We had a friendly greeting with information of where to eat. The room was clean and comfortable and a more than adequate breakfast. We were lucky to have a parking space on site but there are not really enough spaces for the number of rooms. 」

「Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything about this rural quaint chalet is well thought about. From the beautiful french linen to very tasteful rustic decor. Secure location with gated drive. There was a wood burn hot tub which we didn't use, due to our schedule. Incredibly clean, well appointed and comfortable. Peaceful. The local village is only a 5 mins walk down the hill. With quaint cafe and resturants. The only small gripe was the communication was delayed due to automation issues. So we...
